SHIPPING AND CATERING POLICY

Please allow 24 hours notice when placing a catering order. For any orders placed after the 24 hour time frame, we may make exceptions as necessary. Please contact your preferred Marcello’s Market & Deli location directly.

Size and location of catering order determine delivery/set-up price (if any). All catering orders are delivered in person by one of our delivery personnel directly to the place of your meeting. All catering orders can be picked up the day of the event. Please call ahead to setup a pickup time.

All our food is produced in the Marcello’s Market & Deli location of your choice. All catering orders are delivered in disposable catering ware with the appropriate cutlery. Non-disposable containers may be used for some catering items.

Our delivery personnel will arrive up to ½ prior to your requested time. It is best if you request a delivery at least 15 minutes prior to when you actually need the food.

Our delivery personnel will pick up the non-disposable containers by the end of the next business day from the day of your requested time. A charge will apply if a non-disposable container is lost.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Cancellation must be received no later than 10 a.m. the day before your event. A full refund minus any refund charges by the online payment authority will be issued if your cancellation is received prior to the cancellation deadline. Orders cancelled after this time will result in a 100% charge to the client.

This site is owned and operated by Marcello’s Market and Deli. Your privacy on the Internet is of the utmost importance to us. At Marcello’s Market and Deli, we want to make your experience online satisfying and safe.

marcellos.ca gathers two types of information about users:
Information that users provide in order to be able to submit an order online. These information help is used by Marcello’s Market and Deli to ensure the right person receive the order. The information is also used to avoid users from re-entering information every time they place an order on our website. The credit card information we gather is used to process your online orders. Saving your credit card in our database is voluntary. Your credit number is never fully revealed on our site. Only last 4 digits are visible. You have the option to delete your credit card from our database using our web interface.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
We offer the following free services, which require some type of voluntary submission of personal information by users:

Online ordering
We will offer a free electronic newsletter to users. Marcello’s Market and Deli gathers the email addresses of users who voluntarily subscribe. Users may remove themselves from this mailing list by following the link provided in every newsletter that points users to the subscription management page. Users can also subscribe to the newsletters at the time of registration.
Announcements
If user decides to receive announcements from Marcello’s Market and Deli about new products, promotions, etc. The user’s email address will be used for that purpose.
Feedback
Marcello’s Market and Deli has a feedback form that is filled by our users to send us feedback. These feedbacks will be used to assess our customers satisfactions and help us improve our services.

USAGE TRACKING

marcellos.ca tracks user traffic patterns throughout all of our sites. However, we do not correlate this information with data about individual users. marcellos.ca does break down overall usage statistics according to a user’s domain name, browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user’s browser).

COOKIES

We may place a text file called a “cookie” in the browser files of your computer. The cookie itself does not contain Personal Information although it will enable us to relate your use of this site to information that you have specifically and knowingly provided. But the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie can’t read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites. marcellos.ca uses cookies to track user traffic patterns (as described above). Our advertising system delivers a one-time cookie to better track ad impressions and click rates.

You can refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser. If you’ve set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies, you will receive the warning message with each cookie. You do not need to have cookies turned on to use this site. However, you do need cookies to participate actively in message boards, forums, polling and surveys.

Marcello’s Market and Deli uses any information voluntarily given by our users to enhance their experience in our network of sites, whether to provide interactive or personalized elements on the sites or to better prepare future content based on the interests of our users.

Our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorized individuals have access to the information provided by our customers. All our passwords and credit card information are encrypted in our database using 128-bit encryption techniques.

OPT-OUT POLICY
We give users options wherever necessary and practical. Such choices include:

Opting not to register to receive our electronic announcements
Delete credit card information
Delete your profile from our Database by emailing our system administrator
